As-Built Documentation
Scan-based as-built documentation: existing conditions surveys, 2D floor plans and elevations, parametric Revit models, and historic preservation records — captured without disrupting active operations.

How CG3D delivers it
As-built documentation captures what is actually built — not what was drawn. CG3D delivers as-builts as 2D plans (DWG/PDF), 3D Revit models, registered point clouds, or any combination, scaled to the use case.
For renovation projects we focus on the elements that matter: structural grids, MEP routing, ceiling heights, deck profile, and finished surfaces. For historic properties we capture every cornice and irregularity that defines the architecture.
For facility managers, the as-built becomes a living asset record — referenceable from a CAFM/IWMS, embeddable in a digital twin, and updated as the building changes.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver 2D drawings or 3D models?
Both — and often together. Many clients receive a Revit model plus DWG floor plans, sections, and elevations extracted from it.
Can you document a building while it is occupied?
Yes — terrestrial laser scanning is non-disruptive. We routinely scan hospitals, hotels, and active offices during normal operating hours.
How accurate is the documentation?
Drawings and models reflect the underlying scan accuracy — typically 1/8 inch or better, fully traceable to the registered point cloud.
