BIM Coordination & Clash Detection
Multi-discipline BIM coordination and Navisworks clash detection for MEP, structural, and architectural systems. Catch conflicts in the model — not in the field.

How CG3D delivers it
CG3D operates as a neutral BIM coordinator across all trades. We federate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection models in Navisworks, run hard and soft clash sets, and track resolution status by element, system, and trade.
Every coordination meeting ends with an action list owned by the responsible party. Clash reports are exportable, filterable, and auditable — so the GC, the owner, and the trades all share the same source of truth.
On scan-augmented projects, we overlay the federated model against the as-built point cloud to verify routing against real-world conditions before steel goes in the air.

Frequently asked questions
Do you act as the lead BIM coordinator?
Yes — we run weekly federated coordination meetings, maintain the clash log, and drive resolution across trades. We can also operate as a sub-coordinator under an existing VDC lead.
What clash detection tools do you use?
Navisworks Manage is our primary federation and clash environment. We also use Revizto and BIM 360 / ACC Model Coordination depending on the project standard.
Can you coordinate from scan data alone?
Yes — point cloud overlay against design models exposes conflicts with existing conditions before any new work is committed.
